Updates

Hello all....thought I would put a post up while the kiddos are down for a nap. Life has been busy around here. I swear it seems like it was just yesterday that we were having Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The holiday season just FLEW buy.

Jason's dad flew up from California to spend the week after Christmas w/ us. It was nice having here for two weeks. He spent a lot of time w/ the kids....sure to wish Jason's folks lived closer so our kids could know them better. Well, we do what we can right.

Sammy enjoyed gymnastics, soccer and girl scouts starting in the fall. It made for a very busy week...but it was fun for her. She also started kindergarten in September and turns 6 this Sat. (Jan 17). Boy that time flew by fast.....Sammy is now enjoying scouts and dance class.....and being a 'ROCK STAR'! She definitley will be a performer when she grows up. She loves to sing (loudly) and dance for mommy & daddy, or just about anyone willing to watch.

Kaitie has shown an interest in doing dance w/ her sister, so Jason and I signed her up for that. This starts this weekend.....she actually asked me to call her "princess" now instead of angel. Guess thats okay, Sammy is now the "rock star" instead of princess. lol. Anyway, Kaitie is 3 now and has accomplished potty training. We still have a few accidents but, thats okay....I like the fact that I'm not buying diapers anymore!!!! YEAH!!!!!

Nate is busy as always. He's main after school activity is scouts. He belongs to a VERY busy boy scout troop. This weekend actually they are going camping in the snow to practice for snow cave camping in March. I would have to say that 3 weekends out of the month these boys are doing something. Pretty good actually because it keeps him busy and focused. We've had a bit of trouble w/ Nate and band.....so not sure how long he'll keep up playing the saxaphone, maybe he'll switch back to the guitar next year (yikes he'll be in jr high this fall!!!aaaaaaaa I'm getting old)

Jason is doing well w/ work, he went to San Diego this week. Lucky, the weather was 80 degrees! Oh that would be so nice right now!

As for me, I finished this past weekend teaching another CPR class for the red cross. I think this is my calling....truely I enjoy teaching, and respect the importance of what I teach. I am going to at the end of January, teach the boy scouts CPR/First Aid for the merrit badges. My goal is to when Kaitie starts kindergarten (3yrs), move one to teaching CPR/First Aid full time instead of the daycare. I won't quit cold turkey w/ the daycare, but hopefully be able to slowly transition away from the daycare. I still play indoor soccer once a week....what a blast, except for 1 team we play, everyone is fun to play with.

So, I'll put in a couple of pictures (soon, guess the server is down) just so you can see the kids growth. BTW, Nate is 5' 5" now, his feet are bigger than mine and his hands are getting there. Definitley looking more like a young man!

Enjoy and God Bless,
Becky
