Well, I can't say that today started out like any other day....chaotic! Haa haa haa.....thats just my life right now. I went to be late last night....woke up at 2:30am to pee ( I know you didn't want to know that)....thats what happens when you drink 30oz of water before going to bed. I was able to go work out last night, but not until 8pm. Thats why I went to bed so late, I was too wired from working out. I do however prefer working out later in the evening rather than early in the morning. I am NOT a morning person! So, at 4:30 this morning, Sammy comes in our room and says (mind you in a very chipper voice) "mommy I threw up in my bed!" Great! Now, I'm up again, this time tending to my kiddo! And of course, once I've got her all cleaned up and ready to go back to sleep....I climbed back into bed.....and was WIDE STINKIN AWAKE! I don't think I really went back to sleep.
Fast forward to 7am today. Luckily today was Jason's normal day off from work, so I knew I could count on him for help w/ either Sammy or w/ the daycare kids, while I cared for Sammy. Oddly enough....she was acting fine! No fever, no upset tummy, wanting to eat the "brat" diet. Which she asked for, "start me off the the banana mommy". Then she was all smiles and asking to do projects today (I know she feels good, if shes asking for food to eat and projects to do). So I get her settled down w/ stuff to do.....while my daycare kids start arriving. By the way, one of her projects was a kite. She took a piece of paper, taped a long piece of string too it and colored a rainbow in one corner and in the opposite corner she wrote "steev" (sounded out its Steve). I asked her what that ment and she said something along the lines of because she was sick and Uncle Steve was in heaven because he died, she made a kite to reach him?!?! I don't understand it, but I know she has him on her mind. tears.....
Anyway, the rest of my morning has been pretty hectic, loud and crazy...but thats pretty normal. However, we took Nate to the dermitologist (sp?) for a F/U on his excema. His skin is looking great. All cleared up! He has to bathe 1x a day, use Cetaphil cream and Cetaphil gentle soap. And no more HOT showers! But while the Dr. was looking his skin over he noticed some bumps under his right arm. He called them "Molluscum Contagiosum".....I guess these are related to warts/a virus? So, he told Nate he could either leave them alone and they'll go away by themselves, or he could "pop" them like a pimple, or the Dr. could freeze them off. Well, Nate opted for the freezing them off. Pretty painless, just a little sting. So we'll see how that goes.
Speaking of dermitologist. I will be having a mole removed that has been with me my entire life! Its not painful, just anoyingly UGLY! So, on 3/11/09 (just a few days after my b-day) Its GONE! I'm excited.....no more button butt for me!
Okay, thats it for now.....the girls are enjoying dance class btw....and Nate is planning an snow caving camp out w/ his dad and boy scouts. I'll be headed for court (expired tabs), Portland to see wicked and then NYC, ALL in the month of March! Very busy around here.
Hugs and kisses,
Becky

Yet again, another update
So, life just seems to get so darn busy. Really the only time I have to stop and catch my breath is either during nap time and or when I go to bed at night.
So, from my previous blog, I was to have the whole weekend to myself. Which I did, but not without some bumps along the way. Mom came by to pick up the girls around 5pm. She had not been on the road more than 30min, and I got a phone call. She called to say that Kaitie had thrown up in the back seat, and wanted to know if she should bring her home. Now, if I'm to be honest here....and that is what I'm going to be, I was thinking to myself "are you kidding?!!" That was my initial thought! Followed of course, quickly, by "oh my gosh is she okay?" After talking w/ mom for a bit, we decided the reason she threw up was because she got a hold of a piece of candy and chocked on it! Yikes, very scary!
So, for the rest of my first night, I had in the front of my mind, "is Kaitie okay?". But I did not let that stop me for pressing forward w/ my plans for the weekend. I went out Friday night w/ the girl friends, had tea at the Global Bean in Silverdale. Chatted it up for a couple of hours, listened to great music (played by the best we could come up with as a he/she). Saturday was filled with playing ketchup w/ my DVR'd soaps, ER, Grey's Anatomy and Trauma real life in the ER! Sorry, folks it was a boring weekend, but I enjoyed it. Of course, I was thinking all weekend of Kaitie. And on Saturday was Sammy's 6th Birthday. So I was thinking of her too. But I wont lie, it was WONDERFUL to have 2 1/2 days all to myself. It was a great time!
So, now to catchup the rest of the way, we're still doing dance class for both the girls. Nate is extremely involved w/ boy scouts. Its nice, because Jason is doing alot of the scouting adventures w/ Nate! Good man bonding time! Sammy had a nice "rock star" birthday party on the 24th of January. She had 10 friends over, suprisingly it all went well. She scored on the presents....and still has yet to open everyone. Um....
I'm sure there is more to talk about....but I need to go separate my preschool progam....so CYA later....please leave me a comment to let me know you read the blog!

quickie
So, thought I'd say that Jason got home okay. Said his flight was alright, w/ only a little bit of turbulence (five minutes worth, which in my opinion is a lot).
Since the girls are going to be spending the weekend w/ my mom and will miss their Saturday dance classes, I took Kaitie to hers last night (Sam will go tonight). Anyway, Kaitie was just so cute in her little tutu outfit, tights and ballet slippers. :-) Oh my, my little baby is growing up, next thing I know it will be her asking for the car keys or something! Yikes!!!!!!!
I do however, like the fact that they are all growing up and we can have more fun family events, w/ out overly worrying about someone getting hurt, needing 5 changes of clothes, if we brought enough diapers, etc! Now we just worry if we can all fit in the car for the long drive, if we have enough snack food to last us and the amount of movies to watch along the way! Good times. LOL
So this weekend, I am SO excited for. My mom is coming Friday afternoon to pick up the girls and she will have them until Sunday afternoon. Now here comes the icing on the cake, Jason and Nathan are going camping up near Hurricane Ridge (that's in the Olympic Mountains) Friday night, Saturday and they come back Sunday! Now for the cherry, I don't work on Monday!!! So pretty much a 2day weekend ALL to myself and a extra day off w/ the family! I'm so excited! Think I'll take time to go watch a movie by myself and maybe treat myself to getting a manicure?! We'll see.....but what ever it is....I know that it will be quiet and I can do WHAT EVER, WHEN EVER, WITH WHO EVER AND FOR HOW LONG I want!!!! Oh man, this is almost as exciting as going to NYC in March....??!!!?? its a toss up? lol
Well, I just keep this brief.....and will post some pictures in the next post!
Hugs and love to all,
Becky

Updates
Hello all....thought I would put a post up while the kiddos are down for a nap. Life has been busy around here. I swear it seems like it was just yesterday that we were having Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The holiday season just FLEW buy.
Jason's dad flew up from California to spend the week after Christmas w/ us. It was nice having here for two weeks. He spent a lot of time w/ the kids....sure to wish Jason's folks lived closer so our kids could know them better. Well, we do what we can right.
Sammy enjoyed gymnastics, soccer and girl scouts starting in the fall. It made for a very busy week...but it was fun for her. She also started kindergarten in September and turns 6 this Sat. (Jan 17). Boy that time flew by fast.....Sammy is now enjoying scouts and dance class.....and being a 'ROCK STAR'! She definitley will be a performer when she grows up. She loves to sing (loudly) and dance for mommy & daddy, or just about anyone willing to watch.
Kaitie has shown an interest in doing dance w/ her sister, so Jason and I signed her up for that. This starts this weekend.....she actually asked me to call her "princess" now instead of angel. Guess thats okay, Sammy is now the "rock star" instead of princess. lol. Anyway, Kaitie is 3 now and has accomplished potty training. We still have a few accidents but, thats okay....I like the fact that I'm not buying diapers anymore!!!! YEAH!!!!!
Nate is busy as always. He's main after school activity is scouts. He belongs to a VERY busy boy scout troop. This weekend actually they are going camping in the snow to practice for snow cave camping in March. I would have to say that 3 weekends out of the month these boys are doing something. Pretty good actually because it keeps him busy and focused. We've had a bit of trouble w/ Nate and band.....so not sure how long he'll keep up playing the saxaphone, maybe he'll switch back to the guitar next year (yikes he'll be in jr high this fall!!!aaaaaaaa I'm getting old)
Jason is doing well w/ work, he went to San Diego this week. Lucky, the weather was 80 degrees! Oh that would be so nice right now!
As for me, I finished this past weekend teaching another CPR class for the red cross. I think this is my calling....truely I enjoy teaching, and respect the importance of what I teach. I am going to at the end of January, teach the boy scouts CPR/First Aid for the merrit badges. My goal is to when Kaitie starts kindergarten (3yrs), move one to teaching CPR/First Aid full time instead of the daycare. I won't quit cold turkey w/ the daycare, but hopefully be able to slowly transition away from the daycare. I still play indoor soccer once a week....what a blast, except for 1 team we play, everyone is fun to play with.
So, I'll put in a couple of pictures (soon, guess the server is down) just so you can see the kids growth. BTW, Nate is 5' 5" now, his feet are bigger than mine and his hands are getting there. Definitley looking more like a young man!
Enjoy and God Bless,
Becky
